Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples, an American actor and singer from the United States. She was awarded the best actress award for her performance in Nashville in the 2012 drama, as Layla Grant. She also won the award in Sharknado 2013, where she played Claudia Shepard. Also, she portrayed the lead role Jerrica Jem Betnton on the movie Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary in Florida with her parents Wendy as well as Ashley. She is the younger sister of Ally. Aubrey worked with Orlando Repertory Theatre ten years throughout her childhood. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School and was awarded valedictory honors for the class of 2012 when she graduated. Harvard University was willing to accept her. She declined the offer twice. The second time it was due to her desire to play in Nashville. Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) as well as regular roles in Necessary Roughness (1991). She appeared in the television movies Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009), and The Good Mother. She was one of the main characters for the Nashville series in which she appeared as Layla Grant. Peeples discussed her bipolar illness during an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples among the most talented actors who is under 20 in September of 2014.
